Changing Hard Drive on My Macbook Pro

A few days ago, I replaced the hard drive of my trusty Mac Book Pro. It had been failing and warning me that I should replace the HDD asap. I wanted to have the technicians replace it, but the authorised service center is in Davao (Ifix). I could not wait any longer and did it myself. You tube was a great help. I bought a new screw driver set, the one that has torx screwdriver. Then I did it. I wanted to restore it form Time Machine but decided to have a fresh install instead. I had all my important files back anyway. So now, I am running on Mountain Lion on my MBP. I am happy with what I have done and my laptop is much faster than it was before. 

Already?

I saw a tweet by a friend today.  It reminded us that today is the last day of the month.  Oh my,  how time really flies.  It seems like it was just yesterday that we celebrated Christmas.  Tomorrow it will be February already.  A few months after that my eldest child will have finished high school and after two months she will be moving out to go to college.  I feel so old.  Bummer.

Be Thankful

I chanced upon this saying on the internet. The sign says it all. This should be flashed on the minds of those people who are down or troubled. This sign should be posted on every lowly corner, every sad place, every place where you think that life is hopeless. Let us all be thankful for those small things that are a blessing to us.
